    Lovely and wide, but not high enough to fit a standard RSA block of butter. Had to cut butter smaller to make it fit unfortunately.

    Aesthetically this is such a nice product but a large 500gram butter is too big for the dish and it doesn’t close 🙁
    So I have to cut the top off my butter to make it fit inside.

    After doing some research, the comments about this product indicated that it would be able to handle any size butter brick. However, the product might be long enough, but it is not high enough for the bigger butter bricks.

    I already knew this butter dish would not hold a South African 500g block of butter, so was prepared to slice my block lengthways. The dish suits me, and I especially like that it is transparent, so I know how much butter is available.

    A standard block of Butter / Margarine does not fit into this dish, I have tried 3 different brands already. The lid is too short to cover the block
