    So, I feel compelled to write this review because the other reviews are ignoring are pretty important element of grinders: Variable grind.
    Firstly, this grinder works really well. It grinds quickly, and is real easy to clean. Two thumbs up.
    However, its major shortcoming is in how it works. It grinds kind of like a blender. You chuck the beans in, and grind for as long as you want. As long as you hold the top down, the blades inside spin, and chop up the beans.
    A burr grinder on the other hand, has two blades moving in opposite directors, and (MOST IMPORTANTLY) you can vary the distance between the blades. This means you can grind coarse, or you can grind fine, with the same outcome every time. This grinder does not do that. Your grind with this grinder will simply be a function of how long you hold down the on switch for.
    For me, this is a good cheap grinder, it will grind your beans, and you can make some yum coffee. For a coffee snob however, it isn’t what you’re looking for. Go for a more expensive burr grinder where you can dial in your grind, and find the exact sweet spot to repeat over and over.

    This is definitely a worthwhile buy. I was considering going for a more expensive grinder with more functions, but I’m happy that I did not. With this Bosch grinder, you can decide how long you want to grind the beans for, thus there is no need for different settings.
