This product is a waste of money! Very pretty but not functional. It has no grip, food slides off it. Worst tongs I’ve ever come across!

I bought these tongs as I needed a utensil that can easily slip under a toasted sandwich and flip it over without the sandwich falling apart. Sadly these tongs can’t perform such a simple task, let alone something where a sturdier grip is required.
Due to the locking function (the ends move vertically in order to lock the tongs in a closed position) the tongs are flimsy and move up and down when they should press together. This results in a feeble grip and anything slightly heavy will fall out of the tongs.
Other than lifting salad leaves, I have yet to find a job that these tongs can master.
