It brings tears to our eyes to see our onions so safe, we have not seen one onion running away, or have a single onion kidnapped since we started keeping them in the Kitchen Kraft Natural Element Hessian Preserving Bag. Speaking of kidnapping, the bag is just big enough to pull over someone’s head for those “Taken” situations. The additional benefit of having a couple of onions in the bag tears up the victim’s eyes and adds to the enjoyment of being kidnapped. It also has handy drawstring detail that keeps the bag safely closed.
As for the design and manufacturing, it really feels and looks like a quality product with wooden beads completing the look. Stitching is neatly completed and seems to be of a high quality. This product works best in a rustic, or cottage styled kitchen as the product is a bit cluttered for a minimalist look, but if applied correctly it adds to your vegetable storage. We have embarked on a low carb diet, so we didn’t pair our onion bag up with a potato bag, which would have displayed nicely.

I can’t believe how effective this bag is. I placed my onions in it and used it for a few weeks before leaving on holiday. I was away a full month and when I returned the remaining onions were still fresh!! It extended the life of the onions by over 200%. Well worth the investment!

What can I say its truly magic in a bag… I’ve always had a problem storing my potatoes, they either begin to sprout or turn green. I was skeptical at first when I received my bag, but now I’m totally chuffed.

I first ordered the onion bag. It worked so well that I then ordered the potato bag. I was overseas for a month and my onions were still fresh on my return. Amazing product! I am ordering an extra set to take overseas to my sister in law!

I like the potato bag, however not happy that it cannot be washed. Instructions says wipe clean. Inevitable to have a rotten potato at some point. How do I get it clean?
