Great idea. Excellent quality. Can scrape, stir, turn and ladle. Scrapes a pan seriously clean. The tip is a bit soft so you need a rigid spoon to scrape any bits sticking to the pan.

I love all the Le Creuset products and am slowly converting all my Kitchen ware over to their products as they are such great quality, and this Spatula Spoon is no different. It is really worth the extra cost as it is so well made and versatile. I love the colours this spoon is available in, they are all so beautiful and work perfectly in the kitchen. The handle is long, strong and sturdy, it won’t warp or break while you are using it. The Silicone end has put up with a lot of abuse recently and still looks brand new.
This is a great Spatula for cooking, baking and scraping, it is really essential kitchen equipment.

The spoon / spatula head scrapes the bottom of a pot or bowl as well as both a straight sided pot and a curved mixing bowl very well. It is a good size to mix ingredients and has the strength to fold in a fairly stiff dough.The handle is long endough to use in a deep bowl and fits comfortably into my hand to manipulate it whether it is being used as a spoon or a spatula. Really useful 2-in-1 utensil.

I was a little hesitant about getting the spoon but decided to give it a try anyway. It works wonderfully! I could happily beat butter and mix a batter. The best part was when I scooped the edge of the bowl and all the icing was on the spoon, ready to put into the piping bag.
